Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before getting started

  • Start with a single personal training session. After we train together, we can discuss what makes sense based on your goals, schedule, and what you're looking for.

  • Personal Training is one-on-one sessions where I coach you in person.

    Online Coaching is for people who train on their own and receive ongoing custom workout plans and support from an expert coach.

  • Absolutely. Start with a single session. We'll train together, and afterward we can talk about whether ongoing training makes sense for you.

  • If you're training with me 1x or 2x per week, you can add a Coaching Plan Add-On ($140/month) for training on additional days. That gives you structure for days you train on your own.

  • Training more frequently gives you a lower per-session rate—3x/week is $80/session vs. $90 for 1x/week. But there are no package deals that require paying upfront. It's month-to-month based on your training frequency.

  • Not to get started. Most people start with just training. If you want nutrition support later, it's available—but it's not required to make progress with strength training.

  • No contracts. Personal Training and Online Coaching are month-to-month. You can adjust frequency or pause at any time with notice.

    Nutrition Coaching Block requires a 3-month commitment ($600 total).

  • Yes. You can increase or decrease frequency as your schedule or goals change. Just let me know and we'll adjust.

  • Monthly billing for ongoing services (Personal Training, Online Coaching, Coaching Plan, Nutrition Coaching Block). Single sessions and one-time services (Nutrition Foundations Consult) are billed at time of service.

  • Training services are not covered by insurance.

    Some clients use HSA or FSA funds to pay for training when it's deemed medically appropriate. DeRosa Strength partners with TrueMed, a service that helps determine whether your training may qualify under IRS guidelines.

    Eligibility depends on your individual health circumstances and your HSA/FSA plan. Approval is not guaranteed.

  • Book a single training session. I'll spend time some time understanding your goals, your background, and we may do a short workout together.

    Afterward, we’ll discuss what kind of plan works best for you if you want to continue.
